The Clown Prince of Prime Ministers Boris Johnson, his chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty and his chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance announced four new measures today to prevent virus transmission, as 53 people in Britain were confirmed dead from covid-19:

1. Stop non-essential contact by working from home and avoid pubs, clubs and theatres
Johnson said that mass gatherings are something “we are now moving emphatically away from” and will no longer be supported with emergency workers.

2. Anyone living in a household with somebody who has either a persistent cough or fever must now also isolate themselves for 14 days
Prof Whitty said: “If one person in the household has symptoms the whole household stays at home …[but] if there is a very vulnerable person in the household, for example, people will need to take that into account.”

3. Vulnerable groups including those over 70, pregnant women and some with health conditions will be asked to stay at home for 12 weeks from the weekend
Johnson said: “In a few days’ time, by this coming weekend, it will be necessary to go further and to ensure that those with the most serious health conditions are largely shielded from social contact for around 12 weeks.”

4. Stop all non-essential travel

At a meeting yesterday on the availability of Ventilators in British Hospitals, purportedly, Johnson even had to Clown around in that, he apparently called it ‘The Last Gasp Meeting’ – When is Britain going to get a Prime Minister, in place of its ‘Prime Idiot?’

Johnson appears to be in favour of culling the nation of its old and infirm… Of all of the countries in the world which are infected with the virus…Johnson is the only PM to favour the Herding System… He wants people to catch the virus and die, it would appear. His public announcement said that many families will lose loved ones before their time…

Such a deplorable, irresponsible statement for any PM to make. .. It doesn’t inspire hope within the nation, nor does it project a sympathetic understanding… To be honest, I would doubt that he has any understanding… But think of the money he will save!… He certainly isn’t fit to be PM.

Cuban medicine could treat thousands of coronavirus patients as the production of a “flagship” drug, known to combat the disease, is set to increase significantly, pharmaceutical bosses said at a press conference on Friday.

President of the Bio Cuba Farma group, Eduardo Martinez explained that the socialist island has developed 22 drugs that are set to be used to contain the outbreak.

So far it is known that one of the drugs manufactured by Cuba, Interferon B, has managed to effectively cure more than 1,500 patients of the coronavirus, and is one of 30 drugs chosen by the Chinese National Health Commission to combat respiratory disease.

It was first developed in 1986 by a team of researchers from the Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) and introduced into the Cuban health system.

Mr Martinez described Interferon alpha-2B as “the flagship product of the set of Cuban medicines” with the drug developed in both Cuba and China in a joint venture as part of an agreement between the socialist countries.

He said the drug could also be exported to other countries to help contain the spread of the virus and treat those that are showing symptoms.

CIGB director Eulogio Pimentel said that had enough supplies that “would be equivalent to treating practically all the infected cases that occurred in China” where more than 80,000 people have been infected.

“We think that we are capable of satisfying not only the possible demand in Cuba but also the requests that we are getting from other countries, and that is increasing day by day,” he added.

Cuba has sent a team of doctors and supplies of Interferon B to Italy where it is working alongside Chinese experts to help combat and contain the coronavirus outbreak.

One thing is clear. It won’t be the ‘invisible man,’ Prime Minister Johnson, and his Tory crew that will be our first line of defence against this new danger. It will be the heroes of our wonderful NHS.

Thank goodness millions of us have fought to defend it from Tory attacks and threats of privatisation. That’s a fight that, like the battle against flu and all other diseases, needs to carry on.

As a Nation, we need to wrest back our NHS from this government and form an Administrative Committee of Cross-Party Members, who are completely autonomous of the current Tory government.

The Government should be classed as incompetent’ on the basis of the nation having ‘no confidence’ in the Tory Government’s handling of the people’s NHS over the past decade, particularly under the present crisis of Coronavirus.
